On Wednesday, December 27, Côte d'Ivoire raised a sum of 72.906 billion CFA francs on the UEMOA financial market through its Public Treasury and UMOA Securities. This was in order to meet the financing needs of its budget.

The Ivory Coast fundraiser took place at the end of its simultaneous issuance of an auction of 83 and 139-day Treasury Bonds (BAT) and 3-year Treasury Bonds (OATs). The issuer put 70 billion CFA francs up for auction and was offered by investors global bids of 77.926 billion CFA francs, i.e. a coverage rate of the amount put up for auction of 111.32%.
