C'était le mercredi 10 janvier 2024 que l' Etat malien a levé un montant de 24.289 billion FCFA following a simultaneous issuance of an auction of assimilable treasury bills ( 182-day BAT) and 3-year equivalent treasury obligations (OAT). Mali wants to ensure that the financing needs of its budget are covered.

An amount of 25 billion FCFA has been put up for auction by the issuer. He ended up with global bids of 25.839 billion FCFA, i.e. a coverage rate of the amount put up for auction of 103.36%. The amount of tenders accepted by the Mali Public Treasury is 24.289 billion and that rejected at 1.550 billion, i.e. an absorption rate of 94%. The vouchers are expected to be refunded on the first working day following the due date of July 10, 2024
