During the Public Securities Market Meetings, which have been held since last Tuesday, officials from the Malian Ministry of Finance announced that the country plans to mobilize up to 1443 billion CFA francs ($2.4 billion) on the Union Mon& West African publisher, with a total of 29 public bond issues.

Despite the challenges posed by persistent security risks, Malian officials reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining a balanced budget. The expected improvement in the mobilization of fiscal resources, thanks in particular to the digitalization of tax payments, should lead to an average annual growth in tax revenues of 5.1% by 2026, and a more stringent management of public expenditure is planned. The average maturity of securities has recently declined to 2.54 years. The authorities plan to extend it to an average of 5 years, by 2026.
