According to him, these days present major challenges for the cashew nut industry, especially economically with a Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of 9%, the country's second largest export product in terms of volume and currency, and the creation of at least 5,000 jobs.

In addition to the main theme, five different sub-themes with specific objectives are developed. These include ''how to ensure the competitiveness of African raw cashew nuts on the international market? ”, “improving the quality of raw cashew nuts, what is the contribution of actors in the value chain? ”, “supporting the performance of the cashew industry through an adapted financing system”.
