Depuis le jeudi 1 ^er février 2024, le Premier ministre congolais Jean-Michel Sama Lukonde handed over my final certificates to 96 new commissioners at accounts.

The newly formed auditors fill the void in most public institutions following the reform of the State portfolio in 2008. Their mission is to ensure the certification of the financial statements of public institutions and companies in the State portfolio. A en croire Jean-Michel Sama Lukonde, “Auditors have an undeniable role in good governance and in reinvigorating the model of evaluating the performance of both public institutions and portfolio companies. This is an opportunity to recall the heavy responsibility that you now have in certifying the financial statements of public institutions in order to give the government a real picture of these accounts in order to better contribute public institutions to the state budget.”
