Rabat is hosting the second edition of the International Future Territories Forum (FIATERR) in Morocco this Tuesday, February 13, 2024. This is an opportunity for participants to discuss the “many challenges” that African local authorities face in order to find “realistic solutions” for them.

The Future-Territories International Forum brings together for two days the main actors involved in the problems of economic and social development of territories. They discuss the issues, and propose realistic solutions for the many challenges that most African local authorities are currently facing. Hassan El Arafi, one of the leaders of the training session, who is also a teacher at the Mouhamed V University in Rabat, calls on local actors to question technical and legal issues, as well as the financial capacity of the community before engaging in any project.
