Deputy Gérard Gbénonchi indicated in the plenary file that the overall objective of this law is to make effective the repression of criminal conduct on the financial market by establishing a range of proportionate and dissuasive sanctions, all crowned by a more effective application of the rules of the financial market and the creation of a Community framework for the repression of criminal offences that may be committed there. This law is composed of six titles, including a preliminary title dealing with the terminology used in the text and 53 articles divided into seven chapters.
