The World Bank has published a report according to which Côte d'Ivoire's digital economy could bring in over $5.5 billion by 2025, and over $20 billion by 2050.

The constant growth observed in the start-up sector is mainly due to the conditions put in place by local authorities. In reality, Ivorian start-ups captured between 2019 and 2022 an amount that increased from millions of dollars to 33 million dollars, i.e. a growth of 1550%, according to data from Partech Africa, which takes into account transactions of at least $200,000. Investments in start-ups on the continent increased from $2.02 billion in 2019 to $4.9 billion in 2022, an increase of 142.57% over the same period

In addition, several challenges remain to be met. It is important to stress that the other links in the chain, in this case businesses and civil society, must still be part of the same dynamic
