The market capitalization of the bond market of the Regional Stock Exchange (BRVM) rose by more than 17 billion FCFA at the end of the week.

The market capitalization of the BRVM bond market stood at 10,327.173 billion at the end of the trading session on Friday, April 19, 2024, while it stood at 10,309.294 billion FCFA at the closing session on Thursday, April 18, 2024, compared to 10,309.294 billion FCFA at the closing session of Thursday, April 18, 2024, or 17.879 billion FCFA. This increase thus erases the previous day's increase, which stood at 3.136 billion. That of the equity market fell by 20.393 billion, for the second day in a row, from 8,152.682 billion FCFA the day before to 8,132.289 billion FCFA

on Friday, April 19, 2024.

The value of transactions is still above one billion FCFA billion, standing at 1.186 billion FCFA against 1,793 billion FCFA the day before.

For the second day in a row, the BRVM indices are all down. The BRVM Composite index (the general stock market index) thus lost 0.25% to 218.60 points against 219.14 points the day before. As for the BRVM 30 index (index of the 30 most traded stocks on the Stock Exchange), it recorded a decrease of 0.27% to 110.10 points against 110.40 points previously. For its part, the BRVM Prestige index (an index comprising all the stocks listed on the Prestige compartment) fell by 0.17% to 102.23 points against 102.40 points

the day before.
