The National Institute of Statistics (INS) of Tunisia indicated that the Maghreb country recorded a decrease of 0.6% in its imports against +5.5% during the same period of 2023 during the first quarter of 2024.

The INS indicated in its publication that in value, imports reached 19342 million dinars (MD) against 19460.5 MD during the first quarter of 2023. For the institution, the results of Tunisia's trade during the first quarter of the year 2024 showed that exports increased by 4.3% against +10.9% during the same period in 2023. They reached the level of 16287.9 MD against 15614.7 MD during the first quarter of 2023
