La capitalisation boursière du marché des actions de la Bourse Régional des Valeurs Mobilières (BRVM) a enregistré à l' issue de la séance de cotation du lundi dernier sa Third day of interrupted decline.

The trading session on Monday, April 22, recorded a decrease of 15.458 billion FCFA, with a level of 8,116.831 billion FCFA against 8,132.289 billion FCFA on Friday, April 19, 2024. Between April 18, 2024, when it stood at 8,152.682 billion FCFA, and this Monday, April 22, 2024, the capitalization of the equity market experienced a contraction of CFAF 35.851 billion. As for the capitalization of the bond market, it stood at 10 320.400 billion FCFA against 10 327.173 billion FCFA the day before, i.e. a decrease of 6.773 billion FCFA

Indices in particular the BRVM Composite Index (the general stock market index) is also on its third consecutive day of decline. It lost 0.19% to 218.18 points against 218.60 points the day before at the end of April 22, 2024. The BRVM 30 index (index of the 30 most traded stocks on the Stock Exchange) fell by 0.27% to 109.80 points against 110.10 points previously. For its part, the BRVM Prestige index (an index comprising all the values listed on the Prestige compartment) fell by 0.07% to 102.16 points against 102.23

The value of the transactions was 4.554 billion FCFA compared to 1.186 billion FCFA the day before.

The Top 5 of the largest price increases are occupied respectively by SAPH Côte d'Ivoire (plus 7.48% at 2,155 FCFA), Filtisac Côte d'Ivoire (plus 4.31% at 1,935 FCFA), Uniwax Cote d'Ivoire (plus 3.00% at 515 FCFA), Filtisac Côte d'Ivoire (plus 1.32% at 2,155 FCFA), Filtisac Côte d'Ivoire (plus 4.31% to 1,935 FCFA), Uniwax Cote d'Ivoire (plus 1.32% to FCFA 515) 7,295 FCFA) and SMB Côte d'Ivoire (plus 0.95% at 11,200 FCFA).
