African Gold announced on Tuesday, April 30, that it plans to issue shares to raise 2.09 million Australian dollars ($1.6 million) from its shareholders to finance gold exploration in Côte d'Ivoire.

The funds will be used to finance a reverse circulation (RC) drilling program on the Blaffo Guetto Prospect of the Didievi Project. For this project, African Gold plans to drill with an auger over a gold trend of more than 10 km. Beyond Didievi, African Gold has three other gold projects

in Côte d'Ivoire.
