The officials of the Bourse Régionale des Valeurs Mobilières (BRVM) have informed that the first listing on the Stock Exchange of the three bond loans will take place on Wednesday, May 15, 2024.

“FCTC Electricity Pour Tous (EPT) 7% 2023-2030"”, “FCTC EPT 7.25% 2023-2033" and “FCTC EPT 7.50% 2023-2038" are bond loans worth 60 billion FCFA whose listing is scheduled for a few days. The Electricity For All Programme (PEPT) fund has opted for the securitization of claims, in its search for an innovative financial mechanism allowing it to continue its electrification activities in urban and rural areas. The trading session for these three loans, admitted to the BRVM bond compartment, aims to promote the trading of securities on the regional financial market. Beyond these exchanges, the listing will boost the market capitalization of the bond market. At the end of the trading session on May 6, 2024, this capitalization stood at 10 276.025 billion FCFA against 10 281.590 billion FCFA on Friday 3 May 2024, i.e. a fall of 5.565 billion FCFA on Friday, May 3, 2024, or a fall of 5.565 billion
