The Ministry of Finance said in a press release published on Saturday that the government of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) has launched on the market financing an amount of 40 million USD, or more than 110 billion Congolese francs in Treasury Bonds.

The ministry's press release indicates that “the government, through the Ministry of Finance, has announced the opening of an auction of US dollar treasury bills on the financial market of 40 million USD on the financial market, i.e. more than 110 billion Congolese francs at the rate of 2,750, the American dollar”.
