The capitalization of the bond market of the Regional Stock Exchange (BRVM) recorded an increase of 72.546 billion FCFA at the end of the trading session on Wednesday, May 22, 2024.

La capitalisation du marché des obligations de la BRVM est passée de 10, 239.311 billion FCFA the day before to 10 311.857 billion FCFA on Wednesday 22 May 2024. At the origin of the increase in this capitalization, is the first listing of bonds from mutual funds for debt securitization (FCTC) entitled <>< FCTC Sonatel C-1 6,40% 2023-2028> and “FCTC Sonatel C-2 6.60% 2023-2030 admitted to the BRVM bond compartment for a total amount of 75 billion CFA francs.
The market capitalization of the equity market, for its part, increased by 44.775 billion, to 8,209.963 billion FCFA against 8,165.188 billion FCFA on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The value of the transactions was 1.122 billion FCFA against 707,838 million FCFA

the day before.

As for the three flagship indices of the BRVM, they rose again after their drop the previous day. The BRVM Composite index gained 0.55% to 220.68 against 219.48 points the day before. The BRVM 30 index rose by 0.65% to 110.52 points against 109.81 points previously. And the BRVM Prestige index rose by 0.11% to 101.93 points against 101.82 points

the day before.

The Top 5 of the largest price increases are occupied respectively by ETI Togo (plus 6.25% at 17 FCFA), BOA Mali (plus 6.03% at 1,670 FCFA), SODECI Côte d'Ivoire (plus 2.90% at 5,145 FCFA), Tractafric Motors Côte d'Ivoire (plus 2.22% at 2,300 FCFA), Tractafric Motors Côte d'Ivoire (plus 2.22% at 2,300 FCFA)) and BOA Niger (plus 2.19% at 5,845 FCFA). The Flop 5 of the largest price drops was occupied by Air Liquide Côte d'Ivoire shares (minus 6.92% to FCFA 605), BICI Côte d'Ivoire (minus 3.55% to 8,005 FCFA), SAFCA Côte d'Ivoire (minus 2.49% to 980 FCFA), minus 2.49% to 980 FCFA), Onatel Burkina Faso (minus 1.85% to FCFA 605) and Filtisac Côte d'Ivoire (minus 1.12% to 1,325 FCFA)
