At the end of its issuance of a simultaneous auction of assimilable treasury bills (BAT) of duration 364 days and comparable treasury bonds (OATs) of 3 years, 5 years and 7 years, the State of Burkina Faso collected the sum of 58.280 billion CFA francs on Wednesday June 19, 2024 at the market level UEMOA financial institution

The State of Burkina Faso wants to meet its needs to finance its budget. The issuer had put 60 billion CFA francs up for auction. The total amount of the tenders was 60.280 billion FCFA, i.e. a coverage rate of the amount tendered of 100.47%. The amount of tenders accepted by the issuer is 58.280 billion FCFA and that rejected 2 billion FCFA, i.e. an absorption rate of 96.68%. The State of Burkina intends to repay the vouchers on the first working day following the due date set on June 18, 2025. On the other hand, interest will be paid in advance and deducted from the nominal value of the vouchers
