Dans le but de financer la construction et l' exploitation du nouveau terminal portuaire à Douala, the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) has signed a memorandum of understanding with APD-Cameroon.

The new terminal, whose cost is estimated at 210 million Euros, will be an extension of the existing port of Douala and will include two berths that will bear the numbers 53 and 54.
