The value of the transactions was in fact 4.910 billion FCFA compared to 1.091 billion FCFA the day before. A traded value of 2.795 billion at the level of the bond compartment and another value traded of 2.114 billion at the level of the equity compartment are at the origin of these strong transactions.
First, these are transactions involving 240,000 TPCI (Trésor Public de Côte d'Ivoire) 5.90% 2016-2026 bonds at a price of 9,800 FCFA, i.e. a value of 2.352 billion. In the second case, these are mainly transactions involving 81,794 Sonatel shares for a value of 1.592 billion CFA
The market capitalization of the equity market increased by 8.448 billion, to 8,552.303 billion FCFA against 8,543.855 billion FCFA on Wednesday, July 3, 2024. That of the bond market continues its downward trend, recording a fall of 5.005 billion, from 10 533.456 billion FCFA the day before to 10 528.451 billion FCFA this Thursday, July 4, 2024.
In addition, indices are recording an increase in their regard. The composite index rose by 0.10% to 229.88 points against 229.66 points the day before. The BRVM 30 index recorded an increase of 0.26% to 115.05 points against 114.75 points previously. For its part, the BRVM Prestige index rose by 0.11% to 108.15 points against 108.03 points the day before.
The Flop 5 of the largest price drops is occupied by BICICI Côte d'Ivoire shares (minus 7.30% to 9,200 FCFA), Sicor Côte d'Ivoire (minus 4.61% to 3,000 FCFA), SETAO Côte d'Ivoire (minus 2.03% to 725 FCFA), Compagnie Ivoirienne d'Électrice Côte d'Ivoire (minus 1.50% to 1,970 FCFA) and SODECI Côte d'Ivoire (minus 1.70% to FCFA) and SODECI Côte d'Ivoire (minus 1.70% to FCFA) 41% to 5 250 FCFA). The Top 5 of the largest price increases are occupied respectively by BOA Mali (plus 3.23% at 1,600 FCFA), Vivo Energy Côte d'Ivoire (plus 2.94% at 875 FCFA), Coris Bank International Burkina Faso (plus 2.46% at 10,400 FCFA), Total Senegal (plus 2.33% at 2,200 FCFA) and BOA Burkina Faso (plus 1.19% at 6,825 FCFA)
