The Bocom group, controlled by the Cameroonian billionaire Dieudonné Bougne, has just acquired the shares of the Qatari investment fund Kasada Capital Management, in the round table at the Ibis hotel in Douala.

The transaction was part of a global agreement to sell Accor's assets in Cameroon, Senegal and Ivory Coast. Ibis de Douala belongs to the international hotel chain Ibis, owned by the Accor group and created in 1974. The acquisition of this hotel by the Bocom Group is part of an expansion strategy aimed at diversifying its investments. The Bocom group, mainly recognized for its activities in the oil sector, is thus showing a desire to establish itself in other economic sectors
