The Financial Services Quality Observatory (OQSF SENEGAL) Ministry of Finance and Budget and the Advisory Group to Assist the Poor (CGAP) of the World Bank a national survey on risks related to use of digital financial services. The aim is to formulate recommendations to monetary authorities, to electronic money issuers, for a system for the prevention and effective management of risks to which users and service providers are exposed, the Observatory initiated a few years ago.

The Financial Services Quality Observatory (OQSF) took two decisions to follow up on the recommendations. é On the one hand, it is a question of é unfolding, in partnership with operators DontWave Mobile Money style="font-family: "Bookman Old Style”, "serif"> here present and consumer associations, a digital financial education campaign throughout the country aimed at the development of the financial inclusion of populations through digital technology. And on the other hand, to organize public information gatherings, in order to allow users to exchange with mobile money issuers in order to better take care of their concerns and to better secure their financial transactions on the telephone. The deployment of a mass awareness campaign on opportunities, risks and best practices targeted in the 1st phase, Ziguinchor, Saint-Louis, Dakar, Thiès, and polarized localities
