After its issuance of an auction of 3- and 5-year treasury bonds (OATs) on Monday, July 22, the State of Burkina Faso obtained the sum of 112.779 billion from investors in the UEMOA financial market.

L'Etat du Burkina Faso intends to meet the financing needs of its budget. The issuer has put 150 billion CFA francs up for auction. In return, the investors offered the issuer 112.779 billion FCFA, i.e. a coverage rate of the amount put up for auction of 75.19%. The State of Burkina has retained all the submissions from investors, i.e. an absorption rate of 100%. Securities will be redeemed on the first business day following the maturity date set at July 23, 2027 for 3-year bonds and July 23, 2031 for 5-year
