Le 31 juillet dernier, le Chadian Minister of Public Health received 14 Hilux vehicles, 3 Toyotas and 20 Hart-up ambulances in his ministerial department. This donation was made by the Islamic Development Bank and the World Bank.

Le don de vehicles and ambulances aims to support government action and the implementation of the initiatives of the Ministry of Public Health, to ensure the population a universal access to quality health care. According to Jacques Boyer, UNICEF representative style="font-family: "Bookman Old Style”, "serif"> in Chad, this project to strengthen maternal and child health services in Chad covers a population estimated at 6,298,764. inhabitants, representing 37% of the total population of the country. The objective of this project is to contribute to the implementation of the National Health Policy.
