The Attorney General of Cuando Cubango presented the National Strategy for the Prevention and Punishment of Corruption (ENAPREC) at a workshop entitled “Preventing and Combating Corruption”. On the occasion of the presentation, he called for greater transparency on the part of public managers in public procurement processes and the creation of communication mechanisms with citizens.

During the ENAPREC presentation, Hermenegildo Nicolau called on public managers to be leaders and to have ethical principles and values of good governance, so that the community and the administration can raise the standards in Cuando Cubango. He also called for a greater culture of denunciation of public managers by citizens when there are acts of corruption and vice versa, so that the general prevention of corruption is successful, since prevention starts in families and schools, through education.
