The President of Burkina Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traoré laid the first stone for the extension of the cement production plant of the company Ciments de l'Afrique (CIMAF) yesterday in Ouagadougou. According to Captain Traoré, this technology from the CIMAF Group meets the vision of the Transitional authorities to work so that “our raw materials can be processed on site” and to contribute to the creation of decent jobs for youth. On this part, he encouraged economic operators to invest in the processing of our raw materials and reassured foreign investors to take an interest in Burkina Faso, a land of opportunities. He also welcomed this project for a calcined clay production unit, which will consist in extracting the raw material on site for transformation into a finished product intended primarily to satisfy the internal needs of Burkina Faso.
