The UEMOA Regional Stock Exchange (BRVM) exceeded 9 trillion CFA francs (15 billion dollars) for the first time on August 8, 2024.

BRVM's market capitalization grew from 4 trillion in 2012 to 9 trillion in 2024, with a remarkable increase of 20% in less than eight months in 2024. The BRVM 30 and BRVM Prestige indices recorded respective gains of 0.58% to 121.62 points and of 0.14% to 111.1 points.
