At the end of the trading session on Thursday, September 5, 2024, the market capitalization of the bond market of the Regional Securities Exchange (BRVM), recorded an increase of 1.503 billion FCFA. This increase was recorded after two consecutive days in a stationary position

The market capitalization of the bond market increased from 10 372.417 billion FCFA the day before to 10 373.920 billion FCFA on September 5, 2024. That of the equity market recorded an increase of 21.035 billion, from 9,361.434 billion FCFA the day before to 9,382.469 billion FCFA this Thursday, September 5, 2024. The value of transactions rose slightly, to 955.688 million FCFA against 670.984 million FCFA

On the index side, the composite index grew by 0.22% to 258.48 points against 257.90 points the day before, the BRVM 30 index recorded an increase of 0.25% to 129.71 points against 129.39 points the day before. As for the BRVM Prestige index, it fell by 0.20% to 114.49 points against 114.72 points

The Top 5 of the largest price increases are occupied respectively by Unilever Côte d'Ivoire (plus 7.49% to 6,885 FCFA), Ecobank Côte d'Ivoire (plus 7.47% to 8,275 FCFA), Ecobank Côte d'Ivoire (plus 7.47% to 8,275 FCFA), BOA Niger (plus 7.43% to 3,760 FCFA), Total Senegal (plus 7.05% to 2,355 FCFA)) and SETAO Côte d'Ivoire (plus 5.38% at 685 FCFA).
The Flop 5 of the largest price drops is occupied by BOA Mali shares (minus 7.35% at 1,890 FCFA), Tractafric Motors Côte d'Ivoire (minus 5.24% at 2,440 FCFA), BOA Burkina Faso (minus 3.54% at 3,950 FCFA), Société Générale Côte d'Ivoire (minus 2.70% at FCFA 2,440), and Nestlé Côte d'Ivoire (minus 2.10% at 7,000 FCFA)
