Through an auction of assimilable treasury bills (BAT) with a maturity of 182 days, the Senegalese Public Treasury collected this Friday, September 13, 2024 at the level of the financial market of the West African Monetary Union (UMOA) the sum of 44 billion FCFA (74,800 million dollars) on Friday, September 13, 2024 at the level of the financial market of the West African Monetary Union (UMOA).

The amount put up for auction was 40 billion FCFA. That of the submissions from investors amounts to 64.412 billion FCFA. This gives a coverage rate of 161.03% for the amount put up for auction.

The amount of tenders selected was 44 billion FCFA and that rejected was 20.412 billion FCFA. This corresponds to an absorption rate of 68.31%

Investors whose bids were selected will end up with a weighted average return of 6.98%.

The Public Treasury undertakes to repay the vouchers it issued on the first working day following the due date set on 16 March 2025. On the other hand, interest will be paid in advance and deducted from the nominal value of these vouchers
