Copper prices rose for a third consecutive session. They are expected to increase on a weekly basis.

Three-month copper on the London Metal Exchange rose 0.5% to $9,564.50 per ton at 02:15 GMT, close to the two-month high reached during the previous session. The contract has increased by 3.3% since the start of the week. The most traded copper contract in October on the Shanghai Futures Exchange was up 1.3% to 75,870 yuan ($10,751.03)
