The Regional Stock Exchange (BRVM) announces a market capitalization of the equity market at 9,700 billion FCFA at the end of the trading session on Tuesday, October 8, 2024.

This capitalization was in fact 9,790.564 billion FCFA against 9,678.188 billion FCFA the day before, i.e. a strong increase of 112.376 billion FCFA the day before, i.e. a strong increase of 112.376 billion FCFA. In the space of two trading sessions, the capitalization of the equity market increased by 197,964 billion FCFA. The rise on the trading day of October 8 was a result of the rise in the indices. The Top 5 of the largest price increases followed respectively by SOGB Côte d'Ivoire (plus 7.45% to 4,255 FCFA), BOA Mali (plus 7.37% to 2,330 FCFA), Sucrivoire Côte d'Ivoire (plus 6.98% to 690 FCFA), Solibra Côte d'Ivoire (plus 6.97% to 15,505 FCFA) and SICOR Côte d'Ivoire (plus 6.19% at 3,000 FCFA).

The Flop 5 of the largest price drops is occupied by Servair Abidjan Côte d'Ivoire (minus 7.06% to 2,040 FCFA), BOA Burkina Faso (minus 2.29% to 3,420 FCFA), BOA Burkina Faso (minus 2.29% to 3,420 FCFA), Oragroup Togo (plus 1.90% to 1,810 FCFA), Niger (minus 1.79% to FCFA 2,040), BOA Burkina Faso (minus 2.29% to 3,420 FCFA), Niger (minus 1.79% to 3 290 FCFA) and VIVO Energy Côte d'Ivoire (minus 1.69% to 875 FCFA).
