After two days of uninterrupted declines, the three flagship indices of the Bourse Régionale des Valeurs Mobilières (BRVM) returned to the rise on Tuesday, October 22, 2024.

The BRVM Prestige index gained 0.51% to 111.75 points against 111.18 points the day before. As for the composite index, it rose by 0.60% to 264.28 points against 262.71 points the day before. For its part, the BRVM 30 index also recorded an increase of 0.41% to 131.00 points against 130.46 points previously

For its part, the value of transactions fell sharply, from 1,742 billion FCFA the day before to 402,595 million FCFA on Tuesday, October 22, 2024.
The market capitalization of the bond market stood at 10,500.168 billion FCFA against 10,523.455 billion FCFA the day before, i.e. a decrease of 23.287 billion FCFA. While that of the stock market recorded an increase of 56.824 billion FCFA, from 9,536.106 billion FCFA the day before to 9,592.930 billion FCFA on Tuesday

The Flop 5 of the largest price drops is occupied by Servair Abidjan Côte d'Ivoire (minus 7.41% to 2,125 FCFA), BOA Niger (minus 5.58% to 3,300 FCFA), BOA Niger (minus 5.58% to 3,300 FCFA), Palm Côte d'Ivoire (minus 2.03% to 4,580 FCFA), Total Senegal (minus 1.52% to 2,275 FCFA)) and Compagnie Ivoirienne electricity in Côte d'Ivoire (minus 1.28% at 2,310 FCFA

The Top 5 of the largest price increases are occupied respectively by Solibra shares (plus 7.50% at 16,125 FCFA), SAFCA Côte d'Ivoire (plus 5.70% at 835 FCFA), Sucrivoire Côte d'Ivoire (plus 3.01% at 4 FCFA), SOGB Côte d'Ivoire (plus 3.01% at 4 FCFA) 450 FCFA) and Oragroup Togo (plus 2.28% to 1,795 FCFA).
