According to the document, Angola made significant progress during the observation period, modifying and creating legal instruments that are essential for the national system to prevent and combat money laundering, terrorist financing and the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction.
The country has implemented advances such as the approval of the Criminal Code, Law No. 5/20 of January 27 (relating to the prevention and fight against money laundering, the financing of terrorism, and the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction), Law No. 19/ 17 of August 25 (relating to the prevention and fight against terrorism) and law no. 13/15 of 19 June (relating to international judicial cooperation in criminal matters). Angola has also encouraged changes in specific regulations in the various sectors (financial and non-financial) that contribute to the Angolan system for the prevention and control of BCFTP and has made significant progress in strengthening national cooperation and coordination, international cooperation and the use of financial information by competent authorities
