Au terme d' une émission d' adjudication 350-day Treasury Bonds (BAT) and 3-year and 5-year Treasury Bonds (OATs), Mali raised on Wednesday November 13, 2024 on the WAEMU financial market the sum of 22 billion FCFA

The state wants to meet its needs to finance its budget. The Mali Public Treasury had put 20 billion CFA francs up for auction, according to UMOA-Titres. Global submissions from investors of 32 billion FCFA were listed. The latter focused only on short-term securities, namely bonds and 3-year bonds, i.e. a coverage rate of the amount put up for auction of 160%. The amount of successful bids was 22 billion and that rejected was 10 billion. This corresponds to an absorption rate of 68.75%. The repayment of the 3-year bonds is scheduled for the first business day following the maturity date set at 31 October 2027
