At the end of a targeted auction of 28-day, 364-day treasury bonds (BAT) and 3-year treasury bonds (OATs), the General Directorate of Treasury and Public Accounting collected the sum of 91.785 billion FCFA from the financial market of UEMOA. It was last Friday, November 15.

The Senegalese state aims to cover the financing needs of the budget. The Public Treasury had auctioned 130 billion FCFA and obtained a total amount of tenders of 133.785 billion FCFA, i.e. a coverage rate of the amount put out to tender of 102.91%. The successful submissions amount to 91.785 billion FCFA and those rejected to 42 billion FCFA. This gives an absorption rate of 68.61%. The repayment of the principal of the bonds will take place on the first business day following the maturity date set at November 18, 2027
