This information was revealed on Thursday at a press conference in Lagos to commemorate 65 years of BOI serving Nigeria's industrial growth, promoting innovation, and contributing to the nation's socio-economic development.

Olasupo Olusi, managing director and CEO of BOI, who led the other members of the bank's executive management at the conference, highlighted some of the bank's key achievements over time.

“This month, we concluded a global loan syndication that raised nearly 2 billion euros, which is the largest fundraiser in the history of the BOI and in fact the largest syndication in the history of African DFIs.

“One of the key elements that has allowed us to achieve these goals over the years is our partnership. The BOI has established strategic partnerships with key local public and private institutions, as well as with global financial and multilateral institutions, to enable the bank to effectively fulfill its mandate,” he said
