Investigators from the Police Station of District No. 08 in Ouagadougou arrested three members of a gang involved in burglaries, robberies and armed assaults in several districts of the capital, including Nagrin, Ouaga 2000, and neighboring towns such as Saaba and Ziniaré.

The two arrested suspects imitated Burkinabe Customs practices to establish their credibility. They lured their victims by offering fictional auctions on goods allegedly seized by customs. Once the trust of the victims was obtained, the funds were extorted under the pretext of necessary transactions

The suspects revealed the existence of two accomplices, identified as Djousse Loncthi Arthur Ange and Tchoupou Djou Yvaux, who are still wanted by the authorities.
