World Bank funding will be directed to the development of essential infrastructure, including electrical interconnection, water storage, and the improvement of network digitization. Adama Moussa, representative of the African Development Bank (AfDB), announced for his part that approximately 260 million dollars (more than 161,265 billion CFA francs) that were invested in various projects between 2017 and 2022, allowing the electrification of 8,500 villages.
