En collaboration avec la Banque mondiale et le ministère de la Planification, du Développement Economic and International Cooperation, the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI) organized a series of meetings to develop a national strategy for foreign direct investment in Egypt for the period 2025-2030.

The national strategy for foreign direct investment is in line, according to the CEO of GAFI, Hossam Heiba, with the presidential directives and decisions of the Supreme Investment Council, aimed at creating a collaborative and clear vision of investment in Egypt. This strategy is based on a thorough analysis of investment opportunities and challenges, with an emphasis on creating effective partnerships between government and investors to drive economic development. The strategy aims to strengthen industrial ties, improve the business environment and promote investments in key sectors that contribute to sustainable development and economic growth. The strategy is expected to be finalized in the coming months, supported by detailed action plans for its implementation from 2025 to 2030. Performance will be monitored using measurable indicators to ensure the effective achievement of goals
