Investors showed low enthusiasm for shares and bonds with transactions of just over 500 million FCFA, at the end of the trading session on Thursday, December 5, 2024 of the Bourse Régionale des Valeurs Mobilières (BRVM).

The market capitalization of the bond market fell by 69.714 billion FCFA, from 10 432.157 billion FCFA the day before to 10 362.443 billion FCFA the day before to 10 362.443 billion FCFA on Thursday, December 5, 2024. That of the equity market saw an increase of 11.521 billion FCFA, standing at 9,913.695 billion FCFA against 9,902.174 billion FCFA the day before. The total value of transactions was in fact 518.165 million FCFA against 2.445 billion FCFA on Wednesday December 4, 2024. These transactions are very much below the average annual value per session, which was 1.562 billion CFA francs at the end of the trading session on December 4, 2024.
