A la fin a simultaneous issuance of an auction of assimilable treasury bills (BAT) with a duration of 91 days, 364 days and comparable treasury bonds (OATs) of 3, 5 and 7 years, on Thursday December 5, 2024, Burkina Faso raised level of the UEMOA financial market an amount of 78.483 billion CFA francs on the UEMOA financial market

The issuer had auctioned 100 billion FCFA and was offered tenders of 78.483 billion FCFA. This gives a coverage rate of 78.48% for the amount put up for auction. The issuer has accepted all the submissions from investors, i.e. an absorption rate of 100%. The repayment of the vouchers will take place on the first working day following the due date set at March 5, 2025 for those of 91 days and on December 3, 2025 for those of 364 days. Interest will be paid in advance and deducted from the nominal value of these vouchers
