The new tariffs of the telephone operator Orange had aroused many protests and complaints filed on the table of Artp. After listening to all parties involved,
"the ARTP, in its capacity as regulator, vested with a public service mission with its natural variations in terms of protection of the general interest and, taking into account the context of the crisis and the global Covid-19 pandemic, has asked Orange-SONATEL to suspend new offers put on the market on July 22, 2020", as indicated in a press release.
“Consequently, the ARTP asks all stakeholders to take note of this decision,” concludes the regulatory authority.
