The Nigerian stock market recorded its third day of increase on Thursday, rising by 0.25% on Thursday.

The Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) All-Share Index (ASI) and market capitalization increased further at the close of the trading session on Thursday, from the previous day's lows of 98,509.68 points and 59,715 billion naira respectively to reach 98,760.59 points and 59,867 billion naira respectively. Year-to-date stock market performance (ytD) increased to 32.08%. In 8,304 transactions, investors traded 489,654,913 shares worth 7.057 billion naira

For its part, Conoil Plc led the pack of rising stocks on the market on Thursday after its share price rose from 352 to 387.20 naira, up 35.20 naira, or 10%.

Tantalizers increased from N1.60 to N1.76, adding 16 kobo or 10 percent. Custodian Investment also went from N12.60 to N13.85, adding N1.25 or 9.92 percent while Africa Prudential went from N14.30 to N15.70, adding N1.40 or 9.79. Golden Guinea Breweries also rose from N7.18 to N7.88, up 70 kobo or 9.75 percent
