At the end of its simultaneous issuance of an auction of 364-day treasury bills (BAT) and comparable treasury bonds (OATs) with a maturity of 2, 3 and 5 years, the Malian State raised on December 23, 2024, the Malian State raised the sum of 110 billion CFA francs on the UEMOA financial market.

Mali wants to ensure that the financing needs of its budget are covered. Thus, the issuer had put 100 billion FCFA up for auction. The total amount of global bids was 116.645 billion FCFA. This corresponds to a coverage rate of 116.65% for the amount put up for auction. The amount of tenders accepted is 110 billion FCFA and that rejected at 6.645 billion FCFA. This gives an absorption rate of 94.30%.
The vouchers issued will be refunded on the first working day following the due date set at December 22, 2025. Interest will be paid in advance and deducted from the nominal value of the vouchers
