Au terme de la séance de cotation du mardi December 24, 2024, the market capitalization of the stock market of the shares of the Bourse Régionale des Valeurs Mobilières (BRVM) recorded a sharp drop of 73.89 billion FCFA.

The market capitalization of the equity market was in fact 9,978.167 billion FCFA against 10,052.057 billion FCFA on Monday, December 23, 2024. At the origin of this sharp drop, there is that of indices, in particular the BRVM Composite index, which fell by 0.73% to 273.27 points against 275.29 points the day before. The BRVM 30 index recorded a decrease of 0.77% to 136.94 points against 138.00 points the day before. For its part, the BRVM Prestige index, recorded an increase of 0.13% to 111.93 points against 111.83 points

The total transaction value has fallen. It shows a level of 1.682 billion FCFA against 1.822 billion FCFA on Monday, December 23, 2024.
For its part, the market capitalization of the bond market fell by 6.477 billion, from 10 437.507 billion FCFA the day before to 10 431.030 billion FCFA

The Top 5 of the largest price increases are occupied respectively by Sucrivoire Cote d'Ivoire (plus 4.00% to 780 FCFA), BOA Burkina Faso (plus 3.68% to 3,100 FCFA), Onatel Burkina Faso (plus 3.68% to 3,100 FCFA), Onatel Burkina Faso (plus 2.45% to 2,300 FCFA), BOA Mali (plus 2.11% to 1,940 FCFA) and Société Générale Côte d'Ivoire (plus 0.73% at 19,995 FCFA).
