At the end of a simultaneous issuance of 91- and 364-day treasury bonds (BAT) and equivalent treasury bonds (OATs) of 3, 5 and 7 years. Burkina Faso raised an amount of 33 billion CFA francs on the UEMOA financial market. It was last December 27.

Burkina Faso wants to meet the financing needs of its budget. The issuer had put 30 billion CFA francs up for auction. The total amount of global bids is 64,111 billion CFA francs. This gives a coverage rate of 213.71% for the amount put up for auction. The amount of tenders accepted was 33 billion FCFA and that rejected 31.111 billion FCFA, i.e. an absorption rate of 51.47%. Investors whose submissions were successful will end up with a weighted average return of 7.11% for 91-day bonds, 8.70% for 364-day bonds, 8.70% for 364-day bonds, 8.96% for 3-year bonds, 8.96% for 3-year bonds, 8.96% for 3-year bonds, 8.96% for 3-year bonds, 7.31% for 5-year bonds and 8.00% for 7-year bonds. The repayment of vouchers issued will be made on the first business day following the due date set at March 30, 2025 for those of 91 days and December 28, 2025 for those of 364 days. Interest will be paid in advance and deducted from the nominal value of the vouchers
