Les trois indices phares de la Bourse Régionale des Valeurs Mobilières (BRVM) recorded their third day of uninterrupted decline, at the end of the trading session on Tuesday, January 7, 2025.

The BRVM Prestige index fell by 0.71% (after a fall of 0.22% the day before) to 113.24 points against 114.05 points at the end of the day on January 6, 2025. The BRVM 30 index recorded a decrease of 0.48% (against -0.02% previously) to 137.87 points against 138.54 points the day before, and the BRVM Composite index fell by 0.53% (against -0.03% the day before) to 274.38 points against 275.83 points previously. The total value of transactions increased to 566.519 million FCFA against 223.875 million FCFA the day before.
With regard to the capitalization of the equity market, it also fell by 52.834 billion FCFA, to 10,018.662 billion FCFA against 10,071.496 billion FCFA on Monday, January 6, 2025. The bond market also recorded the same dynamic, with a decrease of 10.261 billion FCFA, from 10,500,160 billion FCFA the day before to 10,489.899 billion FCFA

on Tuesday, January 7, 2025.

The Flop 5 of the largest price drops is occupied by Oragroup Togo (minus 7.30% at 1,715 FCFA), Palm Côte d'Ivoire (minus 6.93% at 4,900 FCFA), SETAO Côte d'Ivoire (minus 6.93% at 4,900 FCFA), SETAO Côte d'Ivoire (minus 6.82% at 410 FCFA), and ETI Togo (minus 6.25% at 15 FCFA) and CFAO Ivory Coast (minus 5.69% at 580 FCFA). For its part, the Top 5 of the largest price increases are occupied respectively by Air Liquide Côte d'Ivoire shares (plus 3.03% at 510 FCFA), Orange Côte d'Ivoire (plus 1.71% at 17,850 FCFA), BICI Côte d'Ivoire (plus 1.57% to 14,220 FCFA) and NSIA Banque Côte d'Ivoire (plus 0.69% at 7,250 FCFA), BICI Côte d'Ivoire (plus 1.57% to 14,220 FCFA) and NSIA Banque Côte d'Ivoire (plus 0.69% at 7,250 FCFA)
