Le 9 janvier 2025, l' établissement de 2nd category microfinance: ACEP CAMEROUN SA has launched the first bond loan of its kind to mobilize an amount of 5 billion FCFA with a remuneration Ration at the rate of 7% and a duration from 2024 to 2027.

The operation aims to reduce the institution's dependence on international donors. According to Yann Akindele, Director General of ACEP Cameroon, “this operation in itself is intended to be an innovation in the microfinance sector already and also in order to be able to mobilize savings in an even more structured way with mechanisms that respect standards and also in an effort to ensure the good management of stakeholders, while putting forward interest rates that are attractive.” During the three (03) years of maturity of the operation, ACEP CAMEROON requested the provision of investment services from a brokerage company, USCA, a subsidiary of the Moroccan banking and financial group BCP, duly approved by COSUMAF, Central African Financial Market Authority
