Le procès Olivier Boko and Oswald Homeky opened on Wednesday January 29, 2025 before the Court for the Suppression of Economic Offences and Terrorism (CRIET).

The trial follows charges of conspiracy against state authority, bribery of public officials, as well as forgery and use of forgeries. After reading the minutes, the floor was given to the lawyer of the Beninese State who made his requisitions. It requires the conviction of the three main defendants — Olivier Boko, Oswald Homeky and Rock Niéri — to the payment of 77 billion CFA francs in damages. In addition, he calls for the sum of 1.5 billion CFA francs to be seized by the State in the same way as the known and unknown assets of the three main defendants
