At the end of the trading session of the Regional Stock Exchange (BRVM) on Thursday, January 30, 2025, the BRVM Composite and BRVM 30 indices recorded a sharp drop of more than 1%.

The BRVM 30 index fell by 1.10% to 138.88 points against 140.42 points previously, while the BRVM Composite index thus fell by 1.068% to 275.71 points against 278.65 points the day before. For its part, the BRVM Prestige index fell by 0.54% to 114.58 points against 115.20 points the day before. The total value of transactions increased to 438.807 million against 420.672 million

With regard to the capitalization of the equity market, it recorded a decrease of 108.278 billion FCFA, from 10,274.058 billion FCFA the day before, to 10,165,780 billion FCFA on Thursday, January 30, 2025. The capitalization of the bond market fell by 1.6 billion, to 10 536,150 billion FCFA compared to 10 537,750 billion FCFA the day before.

The Flop 5 of the largest price drops is occupied respectively by Solibra Côte d'Ivoire (minus 6.67% at 13,005 FCFA), ETI Togo (minus 6.25% at 15 FCFA), ETI Togo (minus 6.25% at 15 FCFA), Oragroup Togo (minus 5.60% at 1 600 FCFA), Sicable Côte d'Ivoire (minus 4.55% at 1,050 FCFA)) and Total Senegal (minus 3.26% at 2,225 FCFA). The Top 5 of the largest price increases are occupied respectively by SMB Côte d'Ivoire shares (plus 4.96% at 7,400 FCFA), SODECI Côte d'Ivoire (plus 3.51% at 5,900 FCFA), SETAO Côte d'Ivoire (plus 3.41% at 455 FCFA), Société Générale Côte d'Ivoire (plus 1.59% at 1 280 FCFA
