Market activities of the Regional Stock Exchange (BRVM) increased at the end of the trading session on Friday, January 31, 2025.

The total value of the transactions thus stood at 770.560 million against 438.807 million FCFA the day before. As for the market capitalization of the equity market, it has increased from 80.649 billion to 10246.429 billion FCFA against 10,165.780 billion FCFA

That of the bond market is also up by 7.351 billion, from 10 536,150 billion FCFA the day before to 10,543.501 billion FCFA on Friday, January 31, 2025.

The BRVM Composite Index gained 0.79% to 277.90 points against 275.71 points the day before. The same increase was recorded by the BRVM 30 index with 139.98 points against 138.88 points previously. For its part, the BRVM Prestige index recorded an increase of 1.24% to 116.00 points against 114.58 points

The Top 5 of the largest price increases are occupied respectively by BOA Niger (plus 6.74% at 2,295 FCFA), Total Côte d'Ivoire (plus 5.94% at 2,495 FCFA), Oragroup Togo (plus 5.31% at 1,685 FCFA), Ecobank Côte d'Ivoire (plus 4.88% at 8,600 FCFA) FCFA) and Sicable Côte d'Ivoire (plus 4.76% at 1,100 FCFA).

As for the Flop 5 of the largest price drops, it is occupied respectively by Tractafric Motors Côte d'Ivoire (minus 6.94% at 1,810 FCFA), SODECI Côte d'Ivoire (minus 1.69% at FCFA), SODECI Côte d'Ivoire (minus 1.69% at 5,800 FCFA), Total Senegal (minus 1.12% to 2,200 FCFA), Orange Côte d'Ivoire (less than 2,200 FCFA), SODECI Côte d'Ivoire (minus 1.69% at 5,800 FCFA), SODECI Côte d'Ivoire (minus 1.69% at 5,800 FCFA), Total Senegal (minus 1.12% to 2,200 FCFA), Orange Côte d'Ivoire (less 1.09% to 17,700 FCFA) and BOA Mali (minus 0.87% to 1,710 FCFA).
