A l' issu of a simultaneous issuance of an auction of assimilable treasury bills (BAT) with a duration of 364 days and assimilable treasury bonds (OATs) of 3 years, on Tuesday 4 February 2025, Guinea-Bissau cashed ; at the level of the UEMOA financial market, the sum of 11 billion CFA francs.

The issuer requested 10 billion FCFA and received global submissions from investors of 29.443 billion FCFA. This gives a coverage rate of 294.43% for the amount put up for auction. The amount of tenders accepted was 11 billion and that rejected was 18.443 billion, i.e. an absorption rate of 37.36%. Investors whose bids were selected will end up with a weighted average return of 10.22% for bonds and 10.05% for bonds. Vouchers are refundable on the first business day following the due date of February 3, 2026. On the other hand, interest is payable in advance and deducted from the nominal value of the vouchers
